Talent Hunt 2010

  

Talent hunt for the students of Trashigang MSS started last saturday,18th september, 2010. There were more than hundred participants. Talent hunt was organized by cultural club co ordinator, and the show will  be continued this week too.

Winner of the senior boys

Annual school marathon was organised on 11th september.This year's theme was " RUN FOR  A HEALTHY BODY and HEALTHY MIND.There were four categories
1.Senior boys.......start point.........Bamri dang ( 8 km)
2.Senior girls and Junior boys.........start point....... Pam(5 km)
3. Junior girls ........start point.........BOD, pam kheri(3km)
The finishing point was in Manidungkhor area, in the central town of Trashigang.The winners of the diffrerent categories were awared cash prizes on that day itself.

Class VI 'A' with their Vice Principal

Class VIII lifted the inter class championship rolling trophy  in the level 3, class VI 'A'  in the level 2 and class III 'B' in the level 1 for the year 2010. The tournament was organised by school games and sports unit with the sponsorship from the S.P store, Trashigang.

Inter-Class Driglam Competition

Inter-class Driglam competition was held on 4th september, morning for the classes VII - X students.Class VIII 'A', X 'B', X 'A' stood first, second and third respectively. The winners were awarded cash prizes today in the assembly by the Principal sir.

Green Wings distributes paper bags

The Nature club, Green Wing's members and students make paper bags every week and distributes  free of cost to diffrent shops in Trashigang town. The project was initiated and co odinated by the Green Wings to replace the use of plastic bags in the school as well as in the town.

SBIP on Life Skills

All the teachers and support staff  attended School based inservice programme on Life skills yesterday. The programme was facilitated by Ms. Dorji Yangzom, teacher of the same school.

Marijuana Uprooted

Yesterday Students of Trashigang MSS uprooted marijuana in different areas of Trashigang.The programme was co-ordinated by Sherubtse college (science forum) with the sponsorship from Bhutan Narcotics.The dzongkhag municipal supported the programme with a waste disposal truck.
